[RRPG] Use your voice, or exit stage left?
Part 2 of Exit, Voice, and Loyalty
Social media is a swirl of debate about the "right" or "best" way to show up to the current political moment. Is the writing on the wall? What power do we have to shape the future? Should you vote like your life depends on it, or look for options to leave the country? Can politicians be held accountable, can institutions be salvaged, can democracy be instilled or restored... or are we at the inflection point of no return?
All of these are very real questions, and it's easy to get subsumed in overwhelm about the global rise of fascism, economic instability, and increasing political polarization. That's why we're here, giving ourselves permission to step back and zoom out a bit to look at the big picture. What are our options for action, and which ones are most appropriate?
Welcome to the 2nd edition of the Radical Reading + Practice Group, where we're tackling Part 2 of Albert O. Hirschman's Exit, Voice, and Loyalty.
